4-UNIT HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

This affordable housing initiative introduces an innovative and environmentally responsible approach to community development in Haiti through eco-construction using recycled PET bottles. The project will consist of four thoughtfully designed homes, each approximately 250 square feet, built to provide safe, durable, and sustainable housing for local families. Each unit will include a standard bathroom and kitchen, ensuring residents have access to essential living amenities while maintaining a compact and efficient footprint. The homes will feature semi-private yard spaces for individual households along with a shared community living area that encourages connection and mutual support among residents. By utilizing low-cost, locally sourced recycled materials, the initiative dramatically reduces construction expenses, allowing the homes to be rented at deeply reduced rates compared to typical market rents in Haiti. All rental proceeds will be reinvested into the organization’s programs, helping expand initiatives that foster sustainable growth and long-term community transformation. This project not only addresses housing affordability but also promotes environmental stewardship and community resilience.
